Winning an Online Retail Award positions the recipient in the top flight of the world's internet retailers, with sites that are the embodiment of excellence. It has been proven over and over again that the companies that win awards are the companies that win new business and, in such turbulent economic times as these, any measurable or predictable form of promotion, such as being named an international awards' finalist or winner, is extremely valuable.

Entry to the Online Retail Awards is online, appropriately. And, they are judged, online, by experts.
To keep things as simple as possible in the first year or two, only websites in their English versions will be accepted for judging. Entries to the Awards quadrupled in 2010 and as the Online Retail Awards continue to grow in stature - as they surely will - plans are already in place to create regional heats with regional judges, who will be able to examine sites in their original language, as well as in English.

Winners receive designed certificates to display and the ultimate Prix d'OR champion will receive an impressive trophy finished in matt and polished gold plate.
