Entry Process

Who can enter

The Online Retail Awards are open to any retailer with an online presence anywhere in the world, no matter how large or small the scale of operation, as well as brand-owners selling direct online, and the agencies, marketing services providers and individuals who work for them. Agencies are welcome to submit entries on behalf of their clients.

Retailers, agencies or individuals may submit entries on behalf of themselves or others and may enter any number of categories. Different projects from the same retailer or agency can be entered into different categories but each submission should be tailored to fit the category into which it is being entered.

If entries are duplicated by accident or in error, entries will have to be processed before a decision about their duplication can be made. Regrettably, any duplicated entry fee will be forfeited.

International entries must be in English, including the page reached using the URL you provide on the entry form.

Eligibility

Except where indicated, website URLs and submissions should relate to the twelve-month period January 1 - December 31, 2011. An entry must have been open to access by the buying public until midnight (24.00 hrs) on December 31, 2011.

The organizers reserve the right to retain entries for subsequent publication, both on - and offline in ways that enhance the standing of entrants, supporting partners and the Online Retail Awards themselves. Descriptions of submissions from winners and runners-up will be published in connection with the Online Retail Awards.

Entrants may mark certain sensitive parts of their entry 'not for publication' (such as exact data, etc.), provided such restrictions are not used unreasonably.

Remember: it is always helpful to include independent evaluation of your site, such as a feefo rating, or accreditation by an organisation like Very Good Service, for instance.
